Our History
Before Art’s Roofing & Construction existed, Arturo Stadthagen spent years on the other side of the industry — working in home-improvement financing, where he saw hundreds of roofing and construction jobs from the inside. Client after client, he watched the same pattern play out: contractors cutting corners, upselling work that wasn’t needed, disappearing after the check cleared, leaving homeowners confused and unprotected. No project manager on site to answer questions. No one returning calls. Customers left to guess what was happening with their own homes.
He decided the industry didn’t need another contractor. It needed one that actually showed up — and stayed in touch.
In 2020, Arturo earned his General Contractor license and launched the company as Stadt Roofing & Construction — built on a simple standard: real communication, every step of the way, and someone accountable on every job. In 2023, the company rebranded to Art’s Roofing & Construction, a name that was easier to say and put that mission front and center.
Today, our team brings more than 25 years of combined industry experience to every job across South Florida. And nearly half of every new project comes from a referral — the clearest proof that doing right by the customer, and keeping them in the loop, is still the best way to earn their trust.
