- Every value comes from a public source: the company's own website, its BBB profile, the DBPR license portal, or a dated third-party page. The link in each cell goes to that source.
- Anything a company does not publish shows as "Not displayed" with a link to verify it yourself. We do not guess or fill in from undated third parties.
- Three criteria only each company can answer: whether it uses in-house crews or subcontractors, what workmanship warranty it puts in writing, and whether it lists NOA numbers on the quote. We answer them for ourselves here; ask the others.
- We do not sort by quality. Our row is first because we are the publisher and the only company we can vouch for; the rest are alphabetical.
What to look for in the table
- License: the number must exist on DBPR under the company's name and be active. Without that, nothing else matters.
- Reviews: look for volume and rating together, on more than one platform. Read the 1- and 2-star ones and how the company answered.
- BBB: accreditation and the complaint history are public and cannot be deleted.
- Certifications: GAF, TAMKO, CertainTeed and Owens Corning have official locators; a certification that does not appear in the manufacturer's locator is a promise, not a fact.
- Founding year: matters less than a clean permit history you can see in your city or county portal.
